Friends,

This week’s story is the first travel piece of the year, though I didn’t have to go too far to visit. I’ve written about and photographed a tiny village in the rolling hills of Shropshire, a place with a legendary past. Shropshire, and not Sherwood Forest, could be the place where the real Robin Hood once lived, a Saxon named Eadric the Wild, outlaw of the ancient wildwood of England.
